It's 2019 ...
Hello folks, thanks for joining me over here on my brand new website. This site is decidated to all the products I make. I hope you like what I have to offer and if you have any questions just let me know. Now, here is a little about my creative journey.
I started out doing art therapy as a child to help with my communication issues due to my late development because of my disability. My mother knew I would talk and walk when I was ready to, so she asked the hospital to focus on art therapy.
My first creative activities were the simple ones all children do, finger paints, drawing, penny rubs etc. Then as I got older I moved into cross stitch, cards, mixed media collages. I studied art at school (where I played with painting, drawing, clay and other mediums), photography at college and started selling my own cards at 17. I then moved onto other careers so gave up selling my cards.
I became a Stampin' Up! demonstrator 5 years ago. I start SU as a business 3 years ago. Working for myself has become the only option as I have a lot of surgies and get sick frequently due to my disability.
Being creative gives me an outlet to express myself dispite my limitations from my disability. being a full time wheelchai user with 24/7 waking care leaves me little privqcy and controlover my life. Having my own buisness that involves being creatve and crafty makes me feel like I have a little place in this world. It gives me freedom and control which make life worth living.
I firmly believe that art can change the world. Whether you are an actor, musician, fine artist, craft, writer, chef, dancer, whatever it maybe! You are a creator and having that power can bring people together, give us a way to meet new people and bring about change on this earth.
My sidekick is always there helping me and changing the world in his little world. Meet Ernie my assistant dog and best friend. He comes everywhere with me and has a big part in what I make, the events I hold and how I use creativity to help others. He gives the best hugs when your creative juices need an extra bit of inspiration.
2018 I started doing planner accessories, charms, phone charms, costume earrings and stickers. I intend on starting a craft subscription box and planner subscription shop in 2019 and further details can be found on the subscription page of this site.
Watch what 2019 has in store for me and my small but well cared for business. I am hoping to so many great things with my business in the next year and I can not wait to take you all with me!
